Highfield House

Highfield House is  a  7  bed  residential  care  home,  accommodating  people  on  the  autistic  spectrum,  LD  and  complex  needs/  challenging  behaviour.  We  cater   for  all  ages  and  mixed  gender.  People  with  physical  disabilities  would  require  an  Occupational  assessment  prior  to  suitability.

Our  aim  is  to  maintain  and  teach  life skills  to  people  who  use  the  service,  and  in  turn,  we  support  them  on a  person  centred    approach,  aided  by community  multidisciplinary  team  as  required. 

We  access   community facilities, including  bowling,  swimming,  cinema,  pubs,  drama  and  other  choices  of  interest. 

Our  staff  team  is  consistent  and  supportive  to  all  who  use  the service,  and  we  encourage  family  contacts  and  input  as part  of  service  users  personal  development.

Future  aspirations  will  allow  people  who  use  the  service  to  move  into  supported  living,  and  we  would  play  an  active  role  during  this  transition  period.

Highfield House is registered with and regulated by the Care Quality Commission.
